Job Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional to fill a long-term career position as an A&D Specification Representative in Brisbane, Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building strong working relationships with architects, designers, and builders to promote luxury flooring products. They will have a passion for design, proactive approach to specifications, and excellent presentation skills.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in the decorative materials market, building and construction product sales, and interior design qualifications. Previous specification experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish connections with decision makers in Tier 1 & 2 A&D practices
  • Build strong client relationships, specifications, and not just sales
  • Work closely with the Brisbane Business Development Manager to ensure products are kept in specification
  • Have a passion for bringing projects to life and building relationships within the market

Requirements:

  • Strong presentation skills, friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality
  • Experience in building and construction product sales
  • Interior design passion and colour matching skills
  • Self-motivated and ability to plan your own diary and weeks
  • Active listener and able to build rapport with key decision makers
  • Stable track record of employment and desire to move into a long-term career role
