About the Role

As a key member of our Lending team, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and management of commercial property lending opportunities from loan enquiry and submission through settlement, drawdowns, and final repayment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare Indicative Letters of Offer for sign-off/issue by Senior Portfolio Managers.
  • Prepare loan submissions for new loans under supervision from Senior Portfolio Managers.
  • Work with the Lending Operations team to ensure smooth and punctual settlement of loans (including pre-settlement checklist), keeping Senior Portfolio Managers abreast of status/timing.
  • Maintain and update cash flow forecasts for each loan.
  • Prepare Variation memos for loans to be reviewed by Senior Portfolio Managers.
  • Liaise with external lawyers and Lending Operations in relation to the settlement of new loans.
  • File setup and management of the folders for auditing and compliance.
  • Forecasting and data management.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced commercial lending professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3-5 years' experience in a commercial lending associate position.
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills.
  • Strong numerical and financial modelling skills.
  • Stakeholder engagement experience.
  • Commercial property development experience.
  • A proactive approach and team-first mentality.
