About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Bowden Lodge, a supported accommodation service for men with high complex needs who are homeless or have experienced chronic homelessness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized support to clients, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans, working collaboratively with clients, colleagues, and external professionals.
  • Contribute to a safe and respectful environment, promoting cultural awareness and understanding.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others, with a strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by individuals experiencing homelessness.

Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Community Services, Mental Health, or Disability.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of Aboriginal, multicultural, and social justice issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Valid full South Australian driver's license (C Class).
