About the Role

The Queensland Family and Child Commission (QFCC) is seeking a highly skilled Director, Child Safe Organisation to oversee the rollout of its regulatory scheme. This newly created role will involve designing and leading the Child Safe Organisation scheme, ensuring a smooth transition as the QFCC expands its operations.

As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for establishing the CSO regulatory framework, managing the development of policies, procedures and strategies that promote education and capacity building. You will collaborate closely with regulators and stakeholders to ensure the effective rollout of the scheme.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have proven expertise in policy design, strategic leadership and change management. You will also need to have a commitment to continuous learning and cultural capability, particularly in engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

About the Commission

The QFCC is dedicated to ensuring every Queensland child is loved, respected, and has their rights upheld. The Commission plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children and families across Queensland, through influencing policy, supporting community engagement and working collaboratively with key stakeholders to promote child safety standards.
