This is an exceptional opportunity for registered nurses to gain a registered midwife qualification while being employed on a permanent part-time basis. You will have the chance to work in various clinical rotations, including rostered shifts that count towards your clinical placement hours for the post-graduate course.

You will receive support from experienced preceptors and clinical educators, as well as facilitators from the University of Notre Dame. This will enable you to balance your work and study requirements effectively.

Key Requirements
  • Be enrolled or eligible to enrol in the Graduate Diploma of Midwifery at the University of Notre Dame
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  • At least one year post graduate experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Must be eligible to work in Australia
