Job Opportunity

The Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in our organisation's daily operations. This position requires an individual who demonstrates exceptional leadership qualities, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive business outcomes.

This role is responsible for driving operational efficiency, leading a high-performing team, and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transport management, with experience in road transport and express services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive day-to-day operations to improve efficiencies and maintain high service standards.
  • Lead and motivate a team of professionals to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve operational KPIs.
  • Work collaboratively with various departments to implement solutions that enhance business performance.
  • Invest time into staff development to shape personal and operational performance in line with our organisational strategy.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in Transport Management / Operations Management with a team size of >30.
  • Experience in road transport, express or general transport is essential, with knowledge in Linehaul, PUD and warehouse staffing advantageous.
  • Strong ability to drive change, move strategically and set direction to improve commercial outcomes.
  • Highly developed communication skills coupled with a strong emotional intelligence.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire and motivate a team while building a high performing/resilient and supportive team culture.
