About the Community Engagement Lead Role

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive individual to spearhead our community engagement initiatives, fostering a vibrant, inclusive, and socially connected environment across our retirement living communities.

  • Develop innovative engagement strategies that cater to the diverse interests, backgrounds, and wellness goals of residents, promoting their overall well-being and quality of life.
  • Facilitate regular resident forums, surveys, and feedback sessions to ensure programs are responsive and inclusive, aligning with the community's evolving needs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and delivery of a wide range of activities, including social gatherings, educational workshops, wellness initiatives, cultural celebrations, and intergenerational events, designed to foster connections and a sense of belonging among residents.
  • Integrate resident life stories, preferences, and feedback into program design to create meaningful experiences that resonate with individuals, promoting personal growth and connection.
  • Align all engagement initiatives with evidence-based wellness models that promote autonomy, purpose, and social connection, ensuring the highest standards of care and support.
  • Identify and pursue grant funding opportunities to support and expand engagement initiatives, further enriching the lives of our residents.
Community Partnership & Grant Funding
  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with local schools, businesses, service providers, and community groups, leveraging these relationships to enhance resident life and increase community involvement.
  • Facilitate collaborative opportunities that bring value to residents and strengthen community ties, promoting a culture of mutual respect and understanding.
  • Research, apply for, and manage grant funding opportunities to support new and expanded engagement initiatives, driving innovation and excellence in our community engagement efforts.
Resident Onboarding & Transition Support
  • Collaborate with village managers to deliver comprehensive orientation programs for new residents, ensuring a seamless transition and a warm welcome to our community.
  • Conduct personalized welcome meetings and facilitate introductions to fellow residents, clubs, and interest groups, helping newcomers build connections and feel at home.
