Emerging Technology Lead Role
The Emerging Technology Lead will be responsible for spearheading and coordinating market scans, thought leadership, and evaluation of mid-to-long-term emerging digital technologies that can transform the organization's operations. This role requires a strong understanding of new digital technologies and their potential to enhance safety, productivity, and cost efficiency.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend their needs and explore how new digital technologies can help achieve strategic objectives.
  • Analyze new technologies to assess their readiness for implementation, how they can be integrated into the technology landscape, and how they enable digital strategies and asset plans.
  • Work across the business to coordinate research and evaluation of new digital technologies, as well as engagement with partners and vendors.
  • Contribute to a team culture that values safety, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements
To excel in this role, you should have:
  • A degree or equivalent experience in technology, engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge in current and emerging digital technologies, with insight into how they can be applied to enhance safety, productivity, and cost efficiency.
  • Practical understanding of the mining industry or similar sectors.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in diverse teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence outcomes, and work effectively across different stakeholder groups.
  • A detail-oriented mindset, with effective problem-solving skills and a consistent track record of meeting deadlines.
