We are seeking a highly skilled Pest Control Specialist to join our team in Dubbo. As part of our NSW Grain Protection team, you will work closely with our Pest Control Officers to carry out pest control and fumigation procedures.

This role is ideal for individuals with experience in general labouring work, trades, services, building, construction, or transport and logistics. If you have an unrestricted driver's license (or a provisional license), enjoy traveling, and can commit to short periods away from home, this could be the opportunity for you.

To be successful in this position, you must possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and be comfortable working at heights. You should also be willing to undergo regular medical checks and provide proof of working rights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Pest Control Officers in carrying out pest control and fumigation procedures
  • Undertake activities related to general hygiene and cleanliness of facilities
  • Travel to sites in the region to support pest control efforts
  • Work collaboratively with the NSW Grain Protection team to maintain high standards of pest control and facility cleanliness

Requirements:

  • Unrestricted driver's license (provisional license considered)
  • Willingness to travel and be away from home for short periods
  • General labouring work, trades, services, building, construction, or transport and logistics experience
