Job Description

Support individuals with high support needs in a compassionate and respectful manner. Assist clients with daily living activities, personal care, and medical support to promote independence and dignity.

The role involves building strong relationships with clients and their families, fostering a sense of community and inclusion. You will work collaboratively with the client's support network to ensure seamless care and support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and daily living support
  • Assist with manual handling and use of aids
  • Support clients with complex needs and medical requirements
  • Foster independence and inclusion in shared living environments
  • Build positive relationships with clients and families
  • Manage challenging situations with empathy and professionalism

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting high-needs disability clients
  • Confidence in manual handling and use of aids
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility for varied shifts and rostered work
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word & Outlook)
  • Current Driver's Licence, Working With Children Check, NSW NDIS Worker Screening Check, and National Police Check
