Job Description:- Provide direct patient care and consultation services to support the needs of parents and infants with severe, acute, or complex mental health disorders.
- Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver time-limited, intensive perinatal mental health support through home visiting, clinic appointments, and in-reach services.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across organisational levels to develop and implement effective service delivery plans.
- Qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award and current full registration with AHPRA and/or eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers, or other equivalent qualification; or Psychology qualifications with full PsyBA registration and minimum 8 years post-registration experience; or current Authority to Practice and current NSW Nursing registration with relevant post-graduate qualifications.
- Extensive postgraduate clinical experience in mental health with families of infants, knowledge of impact on parenting, parent-infant relationships and development.
- Excellent negotiation, decision-making and advocacy skills with ability to interact with stakeholders across organisational levels; ability to provide consultation.
- Ability to provide high-level clinical advice and develop education tools or programs for service excellence.
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team and apply advanced reasoning and independent professional judgement in complex situations.
- Experience leading quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation.
- Experience advising managers on clinical service development, practice change and service redesign.
- Current unrestricted NSW driver's licence and willingness to travel.
- An eligibility list may be created for future Permanent Full Time positions.
