About the Role

Officeworks is seeking an experienced ICT Sales Manager to lead our B2B team in Melbourne or Sydney. As a key member of our business, you will be responsible for developing and motivating a team of ICT Specialists and Sales Advisors to deliver exceptional outcomes for our customers and drive growth of our business and commercial technology category.

As a strategic leader, you will be responsible for managing strategic growth and acquisition sales, tender and bid processes, and expanding your portfolio through strategic acquisition, increasing opportunities and exposure for our ICT (Business Technology) and Commercial Technology categories.

You will be passionate about leadership and driven to support your team and partners through long-term, profitable, and mutually beneficial relationships.

About You

You are an experienced people leader with demonstrated sales and/or business development experience in a B2B environment. You are a strategic thinker with a growth mindset who thrives on creating a supportive and engaging team environment, guiding and empowering your people with a client-centric approach and hunger for achieving targets and budgets.

You will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in a people leadership or coaching role supporting other sales team members of a similar size within a B2B sales environment
  • At least 3 years in the ICT technology industry, with experience in designing viable product solutions for a varied customer base, preparing and conducting compelling presentations and briefs, collaborating and networking with industry partners, suppliers, and other stakeholders and C-suite leaders, managing complex sales cycles and uncovering customer needs, building long-term, profitable, and sustainable relationships with business customers
  • Strong commercial acumen with an analytical and inquisitive mind
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, including pipeline management with the ability to initiate new ideas and concepts and manage complex sales cycles
  • Experience with Salesforce is a must, with exposure to PowerBI a bonus
