
Highly Specialized Crime Lawyer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced crime lawyer to join our team. As a crime lawyer, you will work within our criminal legal practice team representing clients in magistrates and youth courts including bail applications guilty pleas and trials.
You will provide high-quality culturally appropriate legal advice and advocacy collaborating with field officers support staff and external stakeholders. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional results while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
Key Responsibilities- Represent clients in criminal matters across various court systems.
- Deliver culturally responsive legal services that cater to diverse client needs.
- Liaise with external agencies legal service providers and government authorities to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve shared goals.
- Contribute to the organization's mission and law reform efforts by providing expert insights and guidance.
- Admission as a solicitor & barrister in South Australia.
- SA practising certificate with minimum 4-5+ years post-admission experience.
- Strong understanding of the criminal justice system and its impact on Aboriginal people.
