Project Management Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Supervisor to join our Building Projects team. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and to the highest standard.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project management, with strong leadership and communication skills. You will be responsible for managing contractors and staff, while meeting and exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with established procedures, policies, and project plans.
  • Oversee and coordinate employees and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication of site requirements and expectations.
  • Work closely with Project Managers to develop and maintain accurate operational records, schedules, and progress reports.
  • Lead regular toolbox meetings and safety briefings to promote team awareness and address any work-related concerns.
  • Foster a workplace culture focused on safety, encouraging proactive employee involvement in HSEQ matters and adherence to Zero Harm principles.
  • Ensure appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn and that all safety, quality, and environmental procedures are followed.
  • Identify, report, and act on safety hazards, environmental issues, and incidents in a timely manner to mitigate risks.
  • Provide timely and accurate documentation, including work records, hazard reports, and customer feedback.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in project management or a supervisory role within the building or construction industry.
  • Knowledge and understanding of operational software (e.g., Simpro, Procore).
  • Current driver's licence and WWCC.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel regionally within Victoria and Tasmania.
