Job OverviewWe are seeking a qualified Psychologist and Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work with children, adolescents, and their families to address a range of psychological concerns.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct diagnostic assessments (ASD, ADHD, Mental Health, Personality Disorders) and provide treatment and counselling to clients
- Develop and implement tailored programs to meet the unique needs of each client
- Communicate effectively with other professionals internal and external to ensure transparent program initiatives
- Provide education to non-program staff as required
- Comply with all Professional Development and supervision requirements as per APS guidelines and frameworks
- Registered Psychologist with 3-5 years of experience working in a similar role
- At least 2 years of experience working as a Behaviour Support Practitioner/Clinician and knowledge of NDIS requirements and legislation
- Demonstrated skill in working as part of a multidisciplinary team with a sound understanding of your role as Psychologist delivering services to young people and their families
- Demonstrated experience/interest in the provision of clinical, evidence-based assessment and interventions with young people and their families that present with mild to moderate mental health conditions or complex presentations related to cognitive impairment/suspected cognitive impairment
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision
- Competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience
