Project Overview

This initiative is situated within the Defence sector, involving significant construction enhancements to airfield asphalt pavements and associated infrastructure assets in regional Western Australia.

Your Role

We are seeking a seasoned Project Engineer - Asphalt with a background in airfield pavements, asphalt contracting, and civil construction to become a vital part of our multidisciplinary project team. This position presents an excellent opportunity for a motivated and ambitious professional to facilitate the execution of a major business initiative within a complex project environment.

Key Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a comparable role, specifically focusing on asphalt contracting, roads, and pavement construction.
  • A tertiary qualification in engineering.
  • A proven dedication to promoting safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
  • A collaborative team-oriented attitude with frontline operational coordination experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate strong relationships with subcontractor and supplier partners.
  • A high-level understanding of resourcing, technical aspects, scheduling, and contract management to meet and exceed safety, quality, time, and cost objectives.
  • Extensive experience in site-based construction roles, client interaction, and project management systems.
  • Experience with Defence processes and project delivery is highly regarded.
  • Ability to meet Department of Defence security clearance requirements (DCAC).
