**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Project Manager to join our team at Boral. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective daily operations of asphalt crews within our asphalt business.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Comply with Boral's Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) policy and ensure our Safety and Environmental standards are met.
  • Responsible for scoping out works prior to commencement and ensuring correct resourcing is in place to deliver works safely and efficiently.
  • Manage supervisors and crews to ensure all day-to-day operational targets are achieved, including financial, volume, and quality.
  • Establish and maintain strategic customer and supplier relationships.
  • Attend weekly program meetings to discuss project progress and goals.
  • Work with labor hire companies to fill positions for job-specific programs or roles required.
  • Oversee all projects and paving contracts and resources to complete works.

**Requirements**

  • 5+ years' experience with knowledge of asphalt manufacturing, asphalt contracting, and/or sprayed seal contracting or another relevant field.
  • Customer engagement and negotiating skills at a site level, including contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring qualities.
