Job Description

Kinder Caring Home Support Services urgently seeks experienced, motivated, committed and caring support workers to provide care to clients in the Hunter Region.

Established in 1998, Kinder Caring continues to address unique challenges of caring for people in their own homes.

We are a registered provider for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and other programs, with offices in Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne and the Gold Coast and a dedicated team to provide ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Access client information and document progress or hazards to ensure safety and well-being on an easy-to-use app.
  • Provide personal care, domestic assistance and companionship to clients as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a support worker, assistant in nursing, care worker or similar role.
  • Experience supporting participants with complex care needs and/or mental health.
  • Certificate III in Aged Care/Disability or Individual Support (completed or working towards) OR studying towards a nursing qualification.
  • Regular background checks (Police Check, First Aid, CPR, WWCC, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance).
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence and a registered vehicle (travel is part of the role).
  • NDIS-related compliance as required.
