About the Role
As a Client Bookkeeper, you'll manage the end-to-end bookkeeping requirements for a portfolio of clients, including problem-solving accounting and technology issues and assisting clients with cloud-based application solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Bank Reconciliations: Prepare and complete bank reconciliations for clients.
- Accounting Software: Code bank transactions into various accounting software.
- Training and Mentorship: Provide training and mentorship to junior bookkeepers in the team.
- Payment Runs: Prepare and review payment runs.
- General Ledger Management: Manage and reconcile general ledgers.
- Loan Transactions: Enter and reconcile transactions in loan transactions within family groups.
- Share and Property Portfolio: Record and reconcile share and property portfolio movements.
- BAS/IAS: Prepare BAS/IAS for family groups.
- Client Premises: Attend client premises as required.
Requirements
We're looking for someone with an accounting or bookkeeping qualification and some experience, ideally within a professional services firm. You should be tech-savvy, familiar with software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and MYOB, and able to maintain ledgers for multiple clients. A high attention to detail and ability to manage conflicting tasks are essential.
