About The Opportunity

The Client Account Manager - Bookkeeper role is designed to provide a professional service to a variety of clients by administering client accounts using bookkeeping and accounting principles. This position offers a hybrid working model, with one day per week from home and four days from the office. While the ideal candidate will work five days, part-time options are considered for the right individual.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and lodge BAS and IAS returns, as well as GST (NZ) returns
  • Manage end-of-financial-year accounts preparation, reconciliation, and reporting
  • Liaise with accountants and government bodies
  • Deliver client financial reporting and accounts payable/receivable services
  • Reconcile bank accounts and provide general administration support
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in accounting or bookkeeping, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Prior experience in a client-facing and bookkeeping-related position is desirable
  • Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients
  • Proficiency in Xero
