WSP is seeking an exceptional Geotechnical Professional to join their team. The role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a high-performing team, delivering innovative and future-ready initiatives in geotechnical engineering and engineering geology.

About the Role

This challenging position involves undertaking and managing geotechnical investigations and design projects, from proposal preparation to fieldwork, analysis, and reporting.

  • You will be responsible for collaborating with Principal and Executive Engineers on various projects, providing technical advice to clients across the asset life cycle.
  • The successful candidate will have experience in geotechnical engineering/engineering geology, with local experience preferred.
  • You must possess strong interpretation and design skills, as well as excellent communication skills to drive business development through successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage geotechnical investigations and design projects from start to finish.
  • Provide technical advice to clients on geotechnical matters.
  • Support the delivery of dam surveillance, safety inspections, risk assessments, and development of safety management systems.
  • Contribute to geotechnical projects in the energy transition, mining industry, and transport industry using your expertise.
About You
  • A Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology degree is essential.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in a geotechnical related field are considered favourably.
  • You must have a proven track record of undertaking and managing field investigations for small to large-scale projects.
