Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to support our clients in attaining suitable, meaningful employment opportunities that lead to sustainable employment outcomes. As an Employment Consultant, you will use your exceptional customer service skills to build rapport with clients, assist them on their employment journey and help overcome barriers to employment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders as part of managing the referral & intake process of job seekers into their chosen program
  • Assessment of job seeker skills, abilities, identification of barriers and intervention strategies
  • In consultation with our job seekers, develop and maintain work preparation strategies, job seeking strategies, tailored interventions (including other service providers) and employment support activities
  • Reverse marketing of job seekers to achieve sustainable employment opportunities
  • Provide pre-employment assistance through vocational counselling, training, job search skills, and work trials/work experience to increase capacity for employment

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Self-driven, resilient, hungry to succeed & experienced in Customer Service
  • Ability to move agilely through tasks and adapt to a dynamic pace
  • Strong Communication skills, attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to use computer systems, excellent data accuracy & note taking
  • Build rapport, grow & maintain relationships with clients, peers, & jobseekers
