About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Employment Consultant to join our team. As an Employment Consultant, you will play a vital role in supporting and guiding clients to attain suitable employment opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building relationships with stakeholders and managing the referral process of job seekers into various programs.
  • Evaluating client skills and abilities, identifying barriers, and developing intervention strategies.
  • In collaboration with clients, creating work preparation plans, job seeking strategies, and tailored interventions to achieve sustainable employment outcomes.
  • Reverse marketing clients to secure employment opportunities.
  • Providing pre-employment assistance through vocational counseling, training, job search skills, and work trials to increase capacity for employment.

Requirements:

  • You possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and experience in customer service.
  • Ability to use computer systems effectively, maintain accurate data, and take detailed notes.
  • You are self-driven, resilient, and able to build rapport with clients, peers, and job seekers.
  • You hold a current NDIS Worker Screening check or are willing to obtain one.
