We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Counsel to join our team as trusted advisors on all areas of the business.

This is an exciting opportunity for a legal professional to play a key role in shaping the future of gold mining in Western Australia.

About the Opportunity:

The Senior Legal Counsel will be responsible for providing strategic legal advice on commercial, contractual and corporations law matters. This will involve negotiating and drafting commercial contracts, advising on legal and regulatory matters, mitigating risk and protecting the company's interests.

  • Advise on legal and regulatory matters, mitigating risk and protecting the company's interests.
  • Negotiate and draft commercial contracts, including procurement, project and mining services agreements.
  • Provide strategic legal advice on commercial, contractual and corporations law matters.
  • Collaborate with senior management and advise on high-impact projects and operations.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • 5-12 years of post-admission experience, with a background in the mining or resources sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in law and admission to the Supreme Court of an Australian State or Territory with a current legal practising certificate.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to understand and convey complex concepts.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to influence and educate across all levels of the business.
  • Demonstrates critical thinking and sound judgment in resolving complex legal and business matters.
