UH-60M Deputy Platform Engineering Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Platform Engineering Manager to join our UH-60M Black Hawk team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for supporting the ADF Platform Engineering Manager in supervising the Platform Engineering Team, providing continuity during absences, and ensuring effective tenure handovers.
Key Responsibilities- Hold Design Engineer (DE) and/or Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) Engineering Authority for the UH-60M Black Hawk, as delegated by the AASB.
- Conduct engineering reviews and approvals for projects in line with your authority delegations.
- Support LMA E&T Functional Managers/Leads with feedback on staff performance and recommendations for training and development.
- Mentor and guide team members on task execution and process implementation.
- Manage internal and external stakeholder input for project definition, planning, and delivery.
- Support the planning, coordination, and delegation of tasks within the Platform Engineering Team. Monitor project and task performance against schedule and cost requirements.
As the Deputy Platform Engineering Manager, you will be a key contributor to the UH-60M Engineering Team. This multi-disciplinary team includes ADF, APS, and LMA staff and is responsible for managing and delivering UH-60M Black Hawk engineering upgrades and capability improvements. You will have extensive knowledge of Aviation regulations, including Defence Aviation Safety Regulations (DASR) Part 21 and Part M, and experience with aircraft systems/subsystems, particularly rotary wing.
