Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Assistant Coordinator to join our team at the Archdiocese of Brisbane. As an Assistant Coordinator, you will play a vital role in shaping the experiences of the children in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Planning and Delivery: Assist in the development and implementation of high-quality educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of children.
  • Staff Supervision and Support: Provide guidance and support to staff members to ensure they are equipped to deliver exceptional care and education.
  • Administrative and Financial Management: Assist in the management of administrative tasks, including fee collection, and ensure the service is financially sustainable.
  • Community Engagement: Promote the service within the local community, in accordance with the Archdiocese of Brisbane's values and mission.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Diploma in Children Services or ACECQA Equivalent.
  • Certifications: Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis.
  • Experience: Proven experience in the education and care of children, with a strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and My Time Our Place framework.
  • Skills: Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff and stakeholders.
