About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to our senior executives in the Government sector. As an Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to senior executives, including:

  • Executive Support: Provide administrative support to senior executives, including diary management, coordination, and organization of meetings and events.
  • Administrative Advice: Provide administrative advice to all areas within the division, including monitoring emails, preparing responses to routine and less complex enquiries, and coordinating and tracking ministerial workflow.
  • Communication and Liaison: Liaise with stakeholders of all levels, including internal and external stakeholders, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Project Management: Identify and implement projects to improve divisional culture, staff wellbeing, and achievement of divisional objectives.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Australian Citizenship: Required for Federal Government.
  • Minimum Baseline Clearance: Preferred.
  • Experience in Providing Administrative Support: To senior executives in a Government or private sector organization.
  • Strong Communication and Office Management Skills: With the ability to adapt to competing priorities and stay focused in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Integrity and Discretion: In dealing with confidential and sensitive business matters.
  • Ability to Work Autonomously: As well as part of a team.
