Key Responsibilities:

  • Run your own section, ensuring smooth service delivery and assisting with other sections as needed
  • Emphasize creativity and passion in your work, inspiring your colleagues and driving menu innovation
  • Adhere to local health and safety regulations, with a strong understanding of HACCP management
  • Deliver high-quality food orders and menu items accurately, consistently, and efficiently
  • Contribute to a collaborative kitchen brigade, working closely with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service
  • Maintain precise stock control and rotation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory

What We're Looking For:

  • A passionate and creative approach to food preparation, with a focus on quality and presentation
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences, with a focus on exceeding expectations
  • The ability to operate under pressure, meeting deadlines and maintaining composure in a dynamic kitchen setting
  • Excellent grooming and presentation standards, reflecting the high standards of our hotel
  • A Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) is essential, with a Food Safety Supervisor certificate highly desirable
