
IT Governance and Compliance Professional

This position reports to a senior executive and will serve as the primary IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance Specialist.
The individual will be responsible for overseeing our risk management framework throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that business continuity plans are regularly reviewed and updated.
- Maintain risk registers.
- Conduct testing of controls and assess their effectiveness.
- Lead interactions with auditors.
- Manage and address audit findings.
- Handle third-party risk management.
- Engage in regulatory compliance activities, such as training, meetings, and information sessions.
- Collaborate to ensure compliance with regulations, including workplace health and safety legislation.
- Identify, address, and report risks related to potential breaches of regulatory standards.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Proficiency in key risk frameworks and audit reports, such as SOC 2, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, CPS 234, and CPS 230.
- Knowledge of information security tools and technologies.
- Skill in designing and testing technology risk controls through audits and reviews.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ownership and accountability.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, take initiative, and make decisions.
- Excellent written and documentation abilities.
- A team player with a positive attitude.
