Drive Innovation in Workflow Engineering

We are one of the largest workflow practices across Australia, seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to spearhead architecture, design, build, and governance roadmap across the group.

About the Role

You will be responsible for ongoing change and development for our workflow solutions and provide technology oversight to different business units.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative technical solutions to strategic business problems
  • Collaborate with high-performing engineers to define current and future states and roadmaps
  • Translate project vision into actionable plans and iterative delivery
  • Challenge the status quo and influence stakeholders at various levels
  • Influence the future of our technology direction every day
  • Lead and mentor engineers while fostering a DevOps mindset and engineering excellence

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience with workflow platforms (e.g. Pega, Appian, Temporal)
  • Proficiency in Cloud & Infrastructure as Code
  • Familiarity with Microservices and cloud-native integration patterns
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and secure development pipelines
  • Data architecture and telemetry tooling skills (e.g. Observe, Obstack, PagerDuty)
  • Programming languages such as C#, Python, Java
