Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care Delivery: Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for patients, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
  • Clinical Decision Making: Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to make informed decisions regarding patient care, medication management, and health education.
  • Maintenance of Competence: Engage in ongoing professional development, staying current with evidence-based practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with healthcare colleagues, providing support, guidance, and expertise as needed.
  • Quality Improvement: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing strategies to improve patient outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Nursing Registration: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
  • Practising Certificate: Possession of a valid practising certificate.
  • Relevant Experience: Demonstrated experience in nephrology nursing, with knowledge of Quality Improvement processes and risk management obligations.
  • Education and Training: Completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification, with ongoing commitment to professional development.
