Overview

This role is part of birthing services in the Northern Territory, provided in 4 geographical locations. Antenatal, postnatal, and intrapartum care are delivered right across the NT.

Models of care provided include Midwifery Group Practice, Team midwifery, Remote Area Maternity care, General Practitioner Obstetrician care, Shared care, Public hospital maternity care, and Public hospital high risk maternity care.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide antenatal, postnatal, and intrapartum care to patients
  • Work in a team environment to deliver quality care
  • Develop and maintain skills and knowledge in midwifery practice

Requirements
  • Minimum 12 months experience in a relevant area of clinical practice
  • Relevant qualifications in midwifery
