About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Forklift Operator to join our team in Gumlu, QLD. As part of an energetic and safety-conscious crew, you will play a key role in supporting packing operations by loading, unloading, and moving produce, packaging, and equipment.

The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts safely and effectively, with a strong work ethic and commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading picking booms, trailers, bin tippers, and trucks
  • Stacking picking bins and placing them in coldroom or storage areas
  • Using forklifts to palletise and stage orders
  • Scanning bins into packing batches and completing relevant monitoring records
  • Bringing pallets of packaging to the shed as required
  • Managing bulk bins and rubbish bins, including set-up and removal
  • Moving and unloading CHEP pallets and delivery trucks
  • Refilling spare LPG bottles as needed
  • Adhering to all food hygiene and forklift safety rules

To be successful, you will need:

  • A current Australian Forklift Licence
  • Flexibility to work 6 days per week when required
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to safety
  • Previous packhouse or horticultural experience (advantageous but not essential)
