Achieve Group is seeking a seasoned Formworker / Carpenter to join their team for a 3-month project in Townsville. Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and apply knowledge of carpentry and formwork processes
  • Perform manual handling and laboring duties as required
  • Assist with ground preparation, including structures and formwork, and utilize star pickets
  • Adhere to general safe practices in accordance with the Workplace Health & Safety Act
  • Work outdoors for extended periods, demonstrating adaptability and resilience
  • Only trade-qualified individuals will be considered for this role

Required Skills and Attributes:

  • Previous experience working in the concreting, road, and bridge industry
  • Formwork/Steel fixing experience is essential
  • Hold a valid White/Blue Construction card
  • Excellent oral, written communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Strong time and workload management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic, with a commitment to honesty and reliability
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with confidence to work independently or as part of a team
  • Physical fitness to perform heavy laboring duties
  • Pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testing

  • $55.00 flat rate per hour
  • 12-hour workdays
