Achieve Group is seeking skilled Concreters and Formsetters for a long-term project in Townsville. This is not a FIFO position.
About the Role
We have multiple sites across Townsville that require filling, with some projects ongoing for 12-24 months or more. Some are local to Townsville, while others are DIDO from Townsville to Mission Beach or Charters Towers (10/4 roster). Civil experienced concreters and formworkers would be highly desirable, along with those skilled in pipe trenching and laying.
Key Responsibilities
Understand concreting and formwork processes
Perform manual handling and labouring duties
Assist with ground preparation, including structures and formwork, and use of star pickets
Follow general safe practices in accordance with the Workplace Health & Safety Act
Work outdoors for extended periods
Requirements
Previous experience in the concreting industry
Experience in Formwork/Steel fixing (desirable)
White/Blue Construction card
Strong oral, written communication, and interpersonal skills
Effective time and workload management skills
Honest and reliable work ethic
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Confidence to work unsupervised or in a team environment
Physical fitness to perform heavy labouring duties
