
In-Person Support Specialist

We're looking for experienced individuals to join our Response Network as casual Responders. This role involves providing in-person support to our members who need help, when they need it, in coordination with our Support Centre.
Key industries have eligibility requirements for this opportunity. You'll work a flexible 24-hour on-call roster, allowing you to enjoy your work-life balance while making a difference.
You will be part of the Responder Network based in Darwin, working closely with the Response Network Manager to:
- Engage stakeholders to drive business outputs
- Nurture partnership relations and engagement
- Contribute to operational procedures and network management
- Provide emergency and non-emergency support responses as required
We're seeking candidates with recent or current experience in Australia's emergency services, military, or security-related work. Key skills include decision-making, empathy, and strong interpersonal relationships.
Successful applicants will have:
- Recent or current experience in Australia within emergency services, military and/or security-related work and a strong local network
- A high level of self-awareness, motivation, and self-management
- The ability to set priorities, act on key issues, and make quick decisions while displaying interpersonal sensitivity
- Ability to work a flexible, on-call roster
