
Sales and Growth Strategist

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as a Sales and Growth Strategist. In this role, you will be responsible for driving service sales growth in Oceania through the development and execution of a strategic sales plan.
You will work closely with our energy divisional manager to identify opportunities for growth and develop targeted sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical sales experience in mechanical or chemical engineering, preferably with several years of managerial experience. They should also have excellent negotiation skills and be comfortable working in cross-functional environments.
In this role, you will be responsible for formulating and executing a sales strategy for service sales growth in Oceania, focusing on Alfa Laval products in the energy division according to assigned targets and local sales company/divisional strategy and targets.
You'll be responsible for developing and securing a high-performing sales team aligned with our culture.
This role requires travel to visit customers across Australia and New Zealand.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Technical sales experience in Mechanical or Chemical engineering
- Preferably several years of managerial experience
- Experience in negotiations, and working in cross-functional environments

In addition to the above responsibilities, the successful candidate will be required to:
- Business ownership of sales growth & profitability in GPHE and BFB Business Units within the Energy Division across Oceania
- Profit & Loss responsibility
- Operating within compliance framework (business, contracts, etc.) & authorization matrix
- Annual Handshakes and quarterly reviews with Business Units
- Marketing plan preparation with assistance / guidance from marketing
- Plan & execute Communications & Commercial Excellence activities with Marketing team
- Business Development activities - digital channels, social media, etc.
- Quarterly Forecasting - submission & successful delivery
- CUSTOMER ALLOCATION AND SEGMENTATION
- Sales Performance Management for each team member
- Service Sales growth through Channels and other ways to market
- Key Account Management - identify, plan & execute business growth plans
- Pricing management through transactional pricing for the Spare Parts business
