Market Development Director

The Market Development Director plays a pivotal role in spearheading market growth and development strategies that align with the company's overall vision. This individual will be responsible for driving sales business strategies for the Market Development team to achieve revenue and profit targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, direct, and drive sales business strategies for the Market Development team to attain revenue and profit objectives.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing key associates and identify new potential leaders.
  • Design and implement sales plans, including tracking sales performances; examine competitors' and market trends to identify and pursue business opportunities.
  • Identify emerging leaders and facilitate their growth through high-quality coaching and counseling sessions.
  • Enhance the sense of belonging among Independent Associates, newly enrolled associates, and leaders by keeping them informed about the company's direction.
  • Collaborate with senior management to provide timely and accurate feedback on the industry and competitive landscape.
  • Monitor the results of promotional campaigns and share best practices with USANA Market Development directors/managers in other countries.
  • Lead and mentor a team of individuals, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
Requirements:
  • Exceptional command of both written and spoken English and Mandarin is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, health-related science, or a related field is essential.
  • Minimum 8 years of sales or industry experience, including at least 4 years in a managerial capacity, is necessary.
  • Ability to interface effectively with associates and employees at all levels.
  • Proficiency in computer software and internet resources as they apply to Market Development and marketing is expected.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines is crucial.
  • Capacity to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and possess a mature attitude is vital.
  • Friendly, confident, and highly positive outlook are essential qualities.
  • Well-organised, articulate, detail-oriented, and results-driven are critical skills.
