Property Rating Officer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to support our team in delivering fair and accurate property rating services.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our dynamic business unit, working in a collaborative environment with a focus on customer service and data analysis.

As a Property Rating Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate property records and valuations to maximise revenue for our community.

  • Process rate notices and waste management charges with precision and attention to detail.
  • Support internal teams and customers with expert advice and data analysis.
  • Contribute to business improvement initiatives and assist in the recovery of outstanding rates.
  • Manage concessions and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Knowledge and understanding of municipal rates, valuations, titles, and subdivisions.
  • Experience using property systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation, including the Local Government Act and the Privacy Data Protection Act.
