Senior Underwriter Corporate

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Underwriter Corporate to join our team at Allianz Australia Services Pty Ltd. As a Senior Underwriter Corporate, you will be responsible for underwriting a large client portfolio of profitable Workers Compensation business.

About the Role:

  • Underwrite a large client portfolio of profitable Workers Compensation business
  • Work with teams in retaining and implementing account plans
  • Assess the risk, manage pricing and underwrite the opportunities
  • Provide a referral point assisting other underwriters

About You:

  • Proven track record in underwriting long tail business either workers compensation or liability
  • Knowledge and experience in Workers Compensation Underwriting NSW MF &/or Risk States (WA, ACT, NT & TAS)
  • A strong analytical capability coupled with excellent verbal and written communication is essential
  • A commercial awareness with demonstrated business acumen
  • You will be a team player with the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded but not essential
