We are seeking a highly skilled Brisbane Facility Operations Manager to join our team in the heart of Brisbane.

Role Overview:

This role involves overseeing the daily presentation and operational efficiency of our new property in the Brisbane CBD. As a key member of our pre-opening team, you will be responsible for maximizing growth and profitability while ensuring seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and Maintenance: Supervise electrical, mechanical, pest control, cleaning, fire protection, security control systems, hydraulic services, and approved contractor works.
  • Cleaning and Repairs: Oversee all common area cleaning, repairs, and maintenance in accordance with the Caretaking agreement.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare building reports, plant, and services schedules, and allocate expenses accordingly.
  • Owner and Tenant Relations: Manage relationships with owners, tenants, staff, and body corporate, maintaining open communication channels.
  • Knowledge and Compliance: Maintain an extensive knowledge of building by-laws, Caretaking agreements, and company policies.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Operational Experience: Extensive experience in financial management, preferably within a hotel environment.
  • Strata Management: Previous strata management experience is advantageous.
  • Business Acumen: Proven strategic business skills and commercial knowledge.
  • Product and Service Standards: Ability to maintain excellent product standards while maximizing revenue and minimizing expenses.
  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
  • Continuous Improvement: A strong commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
