Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced payroll professional to join our team. As a key member of our Shared Services function, you will be responsible for processing end-to-end payroll with precision and timeliness.

Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly and monthly payroll with accuracy and efficiency
  • Liaise with employees, managers, and external parties to resolve payroll queries in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate records of employee details, pay rates, and award conditions
  • Process payroll tax and superannuation calculations with ease
  • Contribute to month-end reporting and year-end reconciliation tasks with precision
  • Identify errors and implement improvements to payroll processes and procedures
  • Develop strong communication skills through collaboration with staff at all levels within the organization and interaction with external parties

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Basic understanding of payroll legislation, taxation, and superannuation
  • Experience with Access Micropay and HumanForce is preferred but not essential
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Able to meet deadlines and learn about system and process improvements
