Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities are located across all mainland states of Australia, accompanied by a network of home improvement stores throughout the country.

An opportunity has arisen for an analytical and technically oriented professional to join our head office team in Gepps Cross. Reporting to the Group Costing Manager, you will be involved in maintaining costing and product-related data. As your skills develop, you will contribute to the design and development of costing and other master data-related systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate costing data for manufactured products.
  • Ensure the accuracy of cost calculations for all products and related system data.
  • Perform analysis in response to requests.
  • Conduct special analyses and/or investigations of business data to support operational and management decision-making processes.
  • Perform routine data maintenance in our extensive product databases.
  • Make recommendations regarding system changes and improvements.
  • Contribute to the preparation of costing policy and procedure documentation.

Skills, Experience & Attributes:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Degree qualification in an Engineering or Business discipline.
  • Experience in a commercial/manufacturing environment is desirable.
  • Passion for numbers and data.
  • Highly proficient Excel spreadsheet skills.
  • Familiarity with database techniques.
  • An inquiring mind with attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Understanding of computer programming techniques and structures is desirable.
  • Experience in Oracle and/or a manufacturing environment will be highly regarded.
