Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Estimator to join our team at Redpath Partners, a reputable and growing company specializing in educational, residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects.

About the Role:

  • As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for producing tenders for construction projects with a value of $50-60 million.
  • You will work closely with the Bid Manager and lead a team of 5 estimators.
  • The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop into the Estimating Manager for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders in the construction industry.
  • Manage a team of estimators to ensure accurate and timely tender submissions.
  • Collaborate with the Bid Manager to develop and implement tender strategies.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to gather data for tender submissions.
  • Prepare and submit tenders for construction projects, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as an Estimator in Australia.
  • Tender and won projects with a value of $20-30 million.
  • Preferably led teams previously.
  • Construction Management degree or other relevant tertiary education.
  • Exceptional construction knowledge and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in managing junior staff and developing their skills.
