Job Title: Senior Estimator

Georgiou is seeking a Senior Estimator to join our team. As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for leading and managing major tenders, preparing first principle estimates, and coordinating with the estimating support team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and prepare first principal estimates of direct and indirect costs in a timely and cost-effective basis.
  • Coordinate with the estimating support team to develop a thorough understanding of project scope, methodologies, program, client deliverables, and other technical and commercial intricacies.
  • Control and coordinate approvals to tender, tender review process, tender submissions, and team resources.
  • Undertake risk assessments and produce risks and opportunities schedule.
  • Develop, supervise, and review submission documents.
  • Participate in tender reviews and post-tender negotiations.
  • Mentor and assist in the development of junior estimators, engineers, and assistants.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Extensive experience in leading and managing major tenders, ideally within the transport sector, with a project value of at least $50m.
  • Advanced skills in estimating software packages, with Expert Estimation being preferable.
  • Solid experience in finance, project, and contract management.
  • Thorough knowledge and experience of Tf NSW tenders will be highly regarded.
  • Strong eye for detail, first-class literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
