We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Operations Manager to join our team.

Job Description

This is a challenging role that requires a high level of commercial and operational expertise. As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of multiple projects across various sites.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring that all projects meet financial, compliance, and quality targets. This includes managing budgets, contracts, variations, and risk assessments.

  • Manage labour planning and resource allocation, including recruitment of site-based personnel.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, Estimators, and Site Supervisors to drive outcomes across all project phases.
  • Lead the estimating process by reviewing scopes, pricing strategies, and methodologies.

In addition to your technical skills, you will also need to possess excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in operations, commercial, or project delivery roles within the civil or construction industry.
  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
  • Strong commercial and contractual acumen, with experience managing budgets, contracts, variations, and risk.
