About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Anyinginyi Health Aboriginal Corporation in Tennant Creek. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality healthcare services to the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary health care services to the population of Tennant Creek and the surrounding Barkly communities.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to manage illness, promote well-being, and maintain health systems.
  • Deliver health education and promotion programs to the community.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary decision-making pertaining to client care.
  • Undertake a wide range of nursing duties, including medication administration and facilitation of telehealth services.

About You:

  • Current Registered Nurse AHPRA registration.
  • Able to abide by CARPA Standard Treatment Manual.
  • Demonstrated knowledge, interpersonal skills, and ability to sensitively communicate with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, values, and beliefs.
  • Ability to communicate sensitively and culturally appropriate.
  • Current certification to administer vaccines in the NT (or able to obtain).
  • Experience, skills, and knowledge in multidisciplinary teamwork and conflict management.
  • High level of communication, negotiation, and consultation skills.
  • Knowledge and experience monitoring health and safety standards.
  • Current NT drivers' license.
  • Meet Public Health Orders for health industry workers in NT.
  • Be fully COVID-19 vaccinated.
