Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Anyinginyi Health Aboriginal Corporation in Tennant Creek. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality healthcare services to the local community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide primary health care services to the population of Tennant Creek and the surrounding Barkly communities.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to manage illness, promote well-being, and maintain health systems.
- Deliver health education and promotion programs to the community.
- Participate in multidisciplinary decision-making pertaining to client care.
- Undertake a wide range of nursing duties, including medication administration and facilitation of telehealth services.
About You:
- Current Registered Nurse AHPRA registration.
- Able to abide by CARPA Standard Treatment Manual.
- Demonstrated knowledge, interpersonal skills, and ability to sensitively communicate with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, values, and beliefs.
- Ability to communicate sensitively and culturally appropriate.
- Current certification to administer vaccines in the NT (or able to obtain).
- Experience, skills, and knowledge in multidisciplinary teamwork and conflict management.
- High level of communication, negotiation, and consultation skills.
- Knowledge and experience monitoring health and safety standards.
- Current NT drivers' license.
- Meet Public Health Orders for health industry workers in NT.
- Be fully COVID-19 vaccinated.
