Project Risk Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Risk Officer to join our team. This role will provide support to the program risk and opportunity management process.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely risk and opportunity reporting requirements, maintaining the currency of information in the risk toolset, and providing access and training to users.

  • Support the Risk & Issues Manager in conducting risk reviews, including preparation of risk review agendas, recording risk review minutes and actions arising, ensuring updates captured in risk toolset in a timely manner, and following up on actions arising.
  • Work with the Risk & Issues Manager to deliver monthly risk and opportunity program reporting.
  • Assist with preparation of risk and opportunity artefacts.
  • Provide support to periodic schedule risk analysis modelling.
  • Manage requests for risk software access and facilitate toolset training for new users.
  • Provide advice and respond to risk and opportunity queries from IPTs.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role or project management is essential.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems, think critically and innovate is crucial.
  • Proven ability to partner with individuals/teams across multiple business areas to shape and implement business requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Current NV1 Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain.
