Job Title:

Maintenance Technician

Job Description:

As a maintenance technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment, performing complex electro-mechanical debug, rework and repair, and working with medium and high voltage environments. You will also operate a variety of hand tools, power tools and LV/MV/HV test equipment for diagnosis and troubleshooting.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certified Electrician (Cert III in Electrical/Electro Technology)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the utility sector, with at least 3 years' electrical experience
  • Must have up to date Electrical Registration/License
  • Must have HV switching certification and experience

As a maintenance technician, you will be required to work outdoors and occasionally on the road at unusual hours. Additionally, you will be required to maintain high levels of communication and feedback within the organization, and prepare daily updates of work completed, problems identified, and future timelines.
