Job Overview

A career as an Electrical Field Service Technician with A.I.R Recruitment offers the opportunity to work with a leading industry player, providing comprehensive maintenance and reactive services to large commercial, industrial, and manufacturing food and beverage equipment across Australia.



Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment at customer premises, demonstrating problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Install and commission equipment under the guidance of project management.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately to ensure timely invoicing and payment from customers.
  • Provide technical guidance and coaching to service technicians, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with customer on-site procedures and policies.
  • Take ownership of jobs, using initiative to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Minimize stock losses through effective rolling stock management.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external customers.


Requirements

  • Full Electrical License
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Extensive experience in Fault Finding
  • Service Work Experience and/or industrial experience
  • Availability for On Call (nights, weekends, public holidays) on a rostered basis
  • Excellent customer service
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Able and willing to use PDA (handheld computer)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, balance competing demands, and meet deadlines
  • Proactive approach in all aspects of the job
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • A highly motivated self-starter
